It's Christmas Eve and following a nice family dinner and attending church, the kids busied themselves with preparations for the visit from the Man in the Big Red Suit!
Not sure if you recall, but last year Comet lost his collar on our
deck! A really small collar for a reindeer if you ask me...but that debate is done and over.
Nate and Tessa hung on to it all year long and hoped to get it
back to Comet this year.
Tessa is leaving a message for Santa explaining the Comet collar debacle!
How does it go...and children all nestled by the fire with glee...or something like that...Here's our fire, our children and can't you just feel the abundant glee?!
Mia has no clue. She is all snuggled up in her Santa jammies, stuffed in baby jail and taking in all the hustle and bustle of the bigs!
Nate and Tessa set a Christmas card out for Santa too. How cute. And, maybe strategic? Maybe they were thinking about all the times their mother says that they are lucky they are cute?
So, we have a cup of hot chocolate, a carefully selected brownie, a few
carrots for the sleigh pullers, Comet's collar and a friendly note
explaining that Nate and Tessa dutifully kept that collar safe all year
long and are responsibly returning.
